Description of the 2-day Tour on Lake Titicaca

FIRST DAY: AREQUIPA - COLCA VALLEY

Starting the day very early, you will embark on an unforgettable bus trip to the Colca Canyon, passing through Pampa Cañahuas, which is located in the Aguada Blanca National Reserve, habitat of vicuñas and alpacas (camelids from South America).

Along the way you will see the Mirador de los Andes, the Chucura crater and the Mirador de Chivay where you will be able to appreciate the pre-Columbian terraces that are still cultivated by the Collaguas natives.

Finally, at 1:00 p.m. approx. You will arrive in Chivay and then go to the selected lodge and in this way you will have the whole afternoon free and with the option of visiting the thermal baths in said place.

SECOND DAY: CROSS OF THE CONDOR – AREQUIPA

he tour will start very early, the main reason is so that you can observe the largest bird in the world in its natural habitat, flying majestically through the deep Colca Canyon. Upon returning to Chivay, you will visit the Chinina Viewpoint with its famous places such as the hanging tombs and the Sifón suspension bridge that connects the towns of Yanque and Coporaque.

Then you will visit the town of Yanque where you will appreciate its beautiful church and its stone streets among other attractions; During the journey, a stop will be made at the viewpoints of Choquetipo, Artahuilque and the town of Maca to observe the Colca Valley for the last time and then have lunch in one of the local restaurants and culminating with their return to the City of Arequipa.
