Description of the Tour 11 days and 10 nights in Lima, Cusco, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, Lake Titicaca, Puno, Arequipa, Colca Canyon

First day: City tour in Lima with a visit to the Huaca Pucllana

We will start our tour through the modern residential districts of Miraflores and San Isidro. We will visit the financial center, the Golf, El Olivar, the Huaca Pucllana (pre-Inca ceremonial temple in the shape of a pyramid) and the Parque del Amor on the Malecón de Miraflores.

Continuing with our tour, we will go to the Historic Center of Lima, we will visit the Plaza San Martín, balconies and old houses, as well as the Plaza Mayor with its most important buildings, to finally enter one of the most important convents of the 17th century. A complete tour, with the comfort and attention of a modern tourist service.

Second day:City tour in Cusco

After breakfast at the hotel, we will pick you up and take you to the Lima airport, there you will check your ticket and take the one-hour flight to the city of Cusco “Archaeological Capital of America”, there our staff will welcome you and transfer you to the selected hotel, where we will have a coca tea. After your lunch from 1:00 p.m. we will begin the guided tour that includes visiting the center of the ancient city of Cusco, the Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, the Church of Santo Domingo, Temple of Qoricancha and the nearby ruins of Q’enqo, Puka Pukara, Tambomachay and the fortress of Sacsayhuaman, built with huge rocks, until now the mobilization and use of these remains an enigma, due to the absence of stone quarries in the area.

Third day: Free day in Machu Picchu "The lost city of the Incas"

We will pass by your hotel in the city of Cusco 1 hour before the departure of your train, and we will take you to the train station, located in the town of Poroy, then we will board the train of the company “PERURAIL” and we will begin the trip from Poroy – Cusco to the town of “Aguas Calientes” (2000 masl) that lasts 4 hours. Upon arrival at the town of Aguas Calientes, we will go to our Hotel, our guide will look for you at night to provide you with the necessary information for the day of your tour, if you wish you can visit the Hot Springs or buy local crafts.

Fourth day: "Sunrise View of Machu Picchu and Huaynapicchu"

Early in the morning and after breakfast, we will go up to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu, then we will make an excursion with our guide through the citadel of Machu Picchu, for 2 hours, visiting the Main Square, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Solar Clock, the Royal Rooms, the Temple of the Three Windows and the Cemeteries. Take the opportunity to relax, take photos and be in this mystical place. Optional: you can do the trekking to the summit of Huaynapicchu, this will take a few hours for the round trip (This visit is without a guide). Then we will go down by bus to Aguas Calientes and in the afternoon we will take the train back to Ollantaytambo, where our staff will be waiting for you, to transport you by bus to the city of Cusco. Fifth day: Tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas

We will begin the tour at 8:30 a.m., to the colorful town of Pisaq, where we will have free time to meet and interact with its inhabitants and artisans, in addition to shopping for beautiful crafts and souvenirs from the place. We will visit the archaeological group of Pisaq. This place is also famous for its strategic constructions. We will continue to Urubamba for a buffet lunch at a local restaurant. Then we will visit Ollantaytambo, an attractive town of Inca origin with notable well-achieved Inca constructions, along with its canals and cobbled streets. In the upper part stands an impressive ceremonial center for the worship of water and a fortress that guarded the access to the lower part of the valley. Then we will visit a picturesque Chinchero town, where we will be able to observe colonial constructions on the Incas, and we will take the opportunity to buy beautiful handicrafts. Sixth day: Travel by plane from Cusco to Juliaca and Tour to the Chullpas de Sillustani.

You will have all morning to walk around the City of Cusco, take the opportunity to buy beautiful handicrafts and take photos of this charming city. At noon we will transfer you to the airport to board your flight to the city of Juliaca. Upon arrival in this city, our staff will be waiting for you to take you on a tour to the Chullpas de Sillustani, an archaeological zone located 34 km north of Puno, where there are circular silver funerary towers, made of stone, reaching up to 12m in height and which were used by the Qollas and the Incas. At the foot of this enclosure is Lake Umayo, a factor that increases the scenic beauty of this place. Seventh day: Tour to Lake Titicaca, Los Uros and Taquile Islands

In the morning we will go on an excursion to Lake Titicaca. The first place to visit will be the Floating Islands of the Uros. These islands are built with layers of totora reeds, important as a home and a craft sales center that are beneficial for the inhabitants of this place, who travel on rafts made by hand. We will continue our tour to Taquile Island, where the inhabitants happily receive tourists, who still keep alive their customs, traditions, and colorful typical costumes. Eighth day: Bus trip from Puno to Arequipa

The next day very early we will go through your hotel to take you to the bus terminal to Arequipa. Upon arrival our staff will be waiting for you to take you to your hotel. In the afternoon we will visit the cities, including the impressive convent of Santa Catalina, a beautiful convent from the 16th century, in the same style as the Spanish buildings of the time, the Plaza de Armas with its unmistakable portals, the church of the Company of Jesus in Spanish Churrigueresque style and the neighborhoods of Cayma and Yanahuara, with a magnificent view of the El Misti volcano, finally we will visit a traditional colonial mansion called the Mansion of the Founder.

Ninth day: Heading to the Colca Canyon and Vicuñas Reserve

In the morning we will leave for the Colca Canyon, we will pass through the town of Yura and the national reserve of Aguada Blanca and Pampa Cañahuas, where we will appreciate numerous species of birds, as well as alpacas, vicuñas and llamas. We will reach a height of 4,000 meters above sea level, we will appreciate the flora and fauna of the beautiful natural lagoons of Bofedales and Mar Atrapado together with giant rocks in the shape of castles. Tenth day: Colca Canyon and view of the condors
