Tour to Machu Picchu in one day with the Train Company "Inca Rail"

To start the tour to Machu Picchu, you must be at least one day before the start date in the city of Cusco located 1200 kms. south east of Lima (Peru). Machu Picchu can be visited by rail (train) and walking along the ancient “Inca Trail” in two or four days, on this tour we will use the Train service.

Description of the excursion to Machu Picchu

We will go through your hotel 2:30 hours before the departure of your train, to transfer you to the train station, located in the town of Ollantaytambo, where you will board the train of the company “INCARAIL” and begin the trip to the town of ” Aguas Calientes” (2000 masl). Upon arrival at the station in the town of Aguas Calientes, our guide will be waiting for us, with him we will take the bus that will take us uphill for 30 minutes. to the lost city of the Incas.

The excursion includes a guided tour of the citadel, visiting the Main Square, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Solar Clock, The Royal Rooms, The Temple of the Three Windows and The Cemeteries, our tour will last approximately more than two hours.

If you wish, you can have lunch at the Sanctuary Lodge hotel, or otherwise return to the town of Aguas Calientes where you will find a variety of restaurants.

(Lunch is on your own).

You must show up at the train station at least 30 minutes before the return time of your train, the outbound journey will be repeated. Upon arrival at the station we will be waiting for you to transfer you to your hotel.
