Tour Description 21 days and 20 nights: (Lima, Ballestas Islands, Paracas, Nazca, Arequipa, Qolca Canyon, Lake Titicaca, Cusco, 2 Days in Machu Picchu, Sacred Valley, Rainbow Mountain Puerto Maldonado, Pachacamac, Lima)

First day: "Welcome to Lima"

Upon stepping foot on Peruvian soil, our staff will welcome you at Jorge Chávez Airport in Lima and transfer you to the hotel. After some rest at a designated time, we will take you to El Señorío de Sulco Restaurant, where you will receive a Peruvian cooking class. The chef will prepare three representative dishes of Peruvian cuisine (stuffed causa with chicken, fish ceviche, and lomo saltado), providing a brief explanation of the ingredients, cooking techniques, and plating decoration. Then, we will enjoy a welcome buffet lunch, and in the evening, we will rest at the selected hotel.

Second day: Tour to "Ballestas Islands" and "Paracas Reserve"

After having breakfast, we will transfer to Paracas port to start the tour to Ballestas Islands, passing by “El Candelabro,” a gigantic figure on the side of a hill. Upon reaching Ballestas Islands, we will visit different islands for two hours, observing various species of sea lions, seals, penguins, and guano birds. After returning to the port, we will proceed with the tour to Paracas Reserve. In the afternoon, we will head to the bus terminal in the city of Paracas for your journey to Nazca. The trip usually takes around 3 hours. Upon arrival in Nazca, our staff will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel.

Third day: Overflight to "Nazca Lines"

In the morning, after breakfast, we will transfer you to Nazca Airport for a 30-minute overflight above the Nazca Lines, where ancient pre-Inca civilizations created gigantic figures of animals and plants, the purpose of which remains undiscovered. Many believe these figures were made by extraterrestrial beings. Among them are figures of the monkey, spider, hummingbird, etc. Then, we will visit the “Cemetery of Chauchillas,” a necropolis dating back over 1000 years belonging to the Ica-Chincha culture period. At 3:15 pm, we will transfer you to the Nazca bus terminal for your return trip to Lima, where our staff will be waiting to welcome you and take you to your hotel.

Fourth day: Flight from Lima to Arequipa and City Tour in Arequipa

After having breakfast at the hotel, our staff will transfer you to Lima Airport for your flight to Arequipa in the early morning or morning. The flight lasts 80 minutes. Upon arrival, our staff will be waiting for you and will transfer you to the hotel of your choice in Arequipa. In the afternoon, we will take a tour of the “White City,” including the Santa Catalina Convent, undoubtedly Arequipa’s gem, opened to the public in 1970 after 400 years of seclusion, featuring an innumerable amount of colonial art pieces. We will also visit the Plaza de Armas, the cloisters of the Jesuit Church, and the neighborhoods of Cayma and Yanahuara, offering a magnificent view of the Misti volcano. Additionally, we will visit a colonial mansion called the Founder’s Mansion.

Fifth day: Heading to Colca Canyon and Vicuñas Reserve

Early in the morning, we will depart on a private bus journey to Colca Canyon, passing by the foothills of Chachani volcano. During the trip, we will cross the plains of Cañahuas and Arrieros, where the Vicuñas National Reserve is located, as well as Vizcachani, La Pulpera, Callalli, Sibayo, and Tuti Villages. We will reach an altitude of 4,000 meters above sea level, where we will appreciate the flora and fauna of the beautiful natural lagoons of Bofedales and Mar Atrapado, along with giant rocks resembling castles. At five o’clock in the afternoon, we will arrive in Chivay, in the Colca Valley, where we will spend the night.

Sixth day: Colca Canyon and Condor viewing

In the morning (05:30), after breakfast at the hotel, we will head to Cruz del Condor, where we will stay for approximately 2 hours. This place offers a great view of the depth of Colca Canyon and the flight of the Condor at close range. On the way back, we will observe archaeological remains, pre-Inca agricultural terraces, and other panoramic views of Colca Canyon. We will pass through the towns of Pinchollo, Madrigal, Lari, Maca, Achoma, and Yanque, where we will make a stop to observe its typical churches, artisan center, and the typical clothing of its inhabitants, among other things. Then, we will return to Arequipa to rest.

Seventh day: Bus journey from Arequipa to Puno

We will have the morning free to visit Arequipa on our own. In the afternoon, at 1:00 pm, we will take the bus, which will take approximately 6 hours to reach the lake city of Puno. During the journey, we will appreciate the typical landscapes of the Andean Highlands of Peru. After an hour of travel, we will make a stop at Pampa Cañahuas, a natural reserve dedicated to the protection of South American camelids such as the vicuña, which, due to its fine and soft wool, has been hunted almost to the point of extinction. Next, we will see from afar the grandiose Stone Forest of Imata, before heading to our next stop, Lagunillas Lake, located in the Department of Puno at an approximate altitude of 4174 meters above sea level, a suitable place to observe more of the region’s fauna, mostly consisting of ducks, coots, and especially flamingos. At 7:30 pm, we will arrive in Puno, where our staff will pick you up and take you to the hotel.

Eighth day: Tour to Lake Titicaca, Uros Islands, and Taquile

After having breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to the port of Puno (Lake Titicaca) where you will board a boat to visit the Floating Islands of the Uros for a 45-minute visit, experiencing the customs of this island and its craftsmanship. Then, we will also take a boat ride to visit Taquile Island, with great scenic, ethnic, cultural, and archaeological value. Afterwards, we will return by boat to the Port of Puno, where we will pick you up and take you to the hotel or, if you prefer, we can drop you off in downtown Puno, and you will spend the night at the selected hotel.

Ninth day: Tourist journey from Puno to Cusco visiting "Raqchi"

After a hearty breakfast, we will pick you up from the hotel and take you to the bus station of the company that will take you on an approximately 8-hour journey, including 4 excursions and guided visits to the tourist attractions of the southern highlands corridor. We will reach the Raya Pass at 4335 meters above sea level and the Inca Aymara museum of Pukara. At noon, in the city of Sicuani, we will include a buffet lunch in the tour. From there, we will continue; each visit lasts from 20 to 40 minutes approximately, visiting the Inca temple of Raqchi, the temple of Andahuaylillas or the Sixtine Chapel of America, making our excursions enjoyable. Upon arrival in Cusco, we will be waiting to transfer you to the hotel where you will spend the night.

Tenth day: City tour in Cusco

After breakfast at the hotel, you will have the morning free to stroll and shop for crafts and souvenirs from Cusco on your own. After lunch, starting at 1:00 pm, we will begin the guided tour that includes visiting the downtown area of the ancient city of Cusco, the Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, the Santo Domingo Monastery, the Temple of the Koricancha, and the nearby ruins of Kenko, Puka Pukara, Tambomachay, and the fortress of Sacsayhuaman, built with huge rocks that still remain an enigma regarding their mobilization and use, as there are no stone quarries in the area. At 7:00 pm.

Eleventh day: Tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas

Today, we will embark on a tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, starting at 8:00 in the morning. We will pick you up from your hotel to head to Pisaq, which is a typical market with picturesque terraces cultivated on the mountainside. We will visit the archaeological site of Pisaq. It is also famous for its fairs where you can buy beautiful handicrafts. Then, we will proceed to Urubamba where we have included a buffet lunch. Afterward, we will head to the Fortress of Ollantaytambo, where there are descendants of the Incas living in the Inca houses. Finally, we will go to Chinchero to visit its market and the archaeological site with typical Spanish superpositions on Inca constructions. The tour will end around 7:00 pm at the Plaza de Armas in Cusco. We will spend the night at the selected hotel in Cusco.

Twelfth day: Free day in Machu Picchu "The Lost City of the Incas"

We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco one hour before your train departure and take you to the train station located in Poroy. Then, we will board the train operated by “PERURAIL” and start the journey from Poroy – Cusco to the town of “Aguas Calientes” (2000 meters above sea level), which lasts 4 hours. Upon arriving in Aguas Calientes, we will head to our hotel. Our guide will meet you in the evening to provide necessary information for your tour day. If you wish, you can visit the hot springs or purchase local handicrafts.

Thirteenth day: "Sunrise Visit to Machu Picchu and Huaynapicchu"

After waking up very early and having breakfast, we will ascend to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu. Subsequently, our guide will conduct a 2-hour tour of the Machu Picchu citadel, visiting its most important sectors such as the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Solar Clock, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows, and the Cemeteries. Once the guided tour of Machu Picchu is over, optionally, you can hike to the summit of Huaynapicchu or the Mountain sector, which will take a few hours. During this time, you can enjoy the landscape and take in some stunning views (this visit is without a guide). Later, we will descend by bus to Aguas Calientes and in the afternoon, take the train back to Ollantaytambo, where our staff will be waiting to transport you by bus to the city of Cusco and take you to your hotel.

Fourteenth day: Free Day in Cusco (Optional Rafting on the Vilcanota River or Tour to Tipón)

After breakfast, you will have the day free to explore the city of Cusco. You can wander its streets, visit its numerous museums and Colonial Churches, which hold invaluable treasures (visits will be on your own). You can also get to know its people and customs better, as well as purchase crafts and souvenirs from your trip. We will spend the night at the selected hotel in Cusco. You can also participate in optional activities such as a tour to the Southern Valley visiting Tipon and Pikillacta or rafting on the Vilcanota River.

Fifteenth day: Tour to the Rainbow Mountain Vinicunca

Very early in the morning at 4:00 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in our private tourist transport and then head towards the south route of the city of Cusipata – Paucarpata. The journey will last approximately 2 hours, where we will enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast (scrambled eggs, cheese, ham, fruit salad, hot drinks, etc.). We will continue for about 40 minutes to the control point, where we will start the hike. Once we reach this point, our guide will give you instructions and recommendations for the route, along with the latest updates, and we will finally begin. The hike will last approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes until we reach Vinicunca or Rainbow Mountain at 5020 meters above sea level. Along the way, we will observe the fauna and flora of the area, highlighting the llamas and alpacas cared for by shepherds dressed in beautiful traditional costumes of the region. Passing through beautiful ravines, we will head to the highest parts, surrounded by snowy peaks (Ausangate). Almost reaching the summit, we will observe the change in landscape, the colorful mountain range of Vinicunca (5020 m/16,466 ft.). Arriving at this point between 10:30 to 11:00 am. Here, our guide will explain in detail about the geography, ecosystem, and color of the mountain, and then take the most beautiful photos of the Rainbow Mountain from another perspective. Being able to see the beautiful landscape from 5080 meters above sea level, after which we will take the return route through the Red Valley viewpoint of red mountains. Walking on this ecosystem considered an Andean desert, we will make the last visit to another point of Vinicunca for photos before returning to Llaqto, where our vehicle will be waiting. Afterward, we will have our delicious buffet lunch with a variety of Novo Andean food. Then we will return to the city of Cusco, arriving at approximately 5:00 pm.

Sixteenth day: Flight from Cusco to Puerto Maldonado and Tour to Monkey Island.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will transport you to the airport for your flight to Puerto Maldonado, the “Capital of the World’s Biodiversity.” Upon arrival, you will receive a welcome reception. We will start a city tour in our bus and then head to the Capitanía port to embark on a boat trip through the Madre de Dios River. During the journey, we will observe capybaras, caimans, turtles, herons, cormorants, and other animal species. Accommodation in the lodge, where you will enjoy a welcome drink, settle into our bungalows, and have lunch. In the afternoon, accompanied by our specialized guide, we will visit Monkey Island, which is 5 minutes away from the lodge. During the walk, you will observe extraordinary landscapes with lush flora, which houses a variety of monkey species in their natural habitat, such as squirrel monkeys, capuchins, small lion monkeys, night monkeys, and howler monkeys, as well as other species like the coati, sloths, among others, and a variety of birds. We will complete the journey around the island enjoying the sunset, which is the most impressive aspect of the jungle. Then, we will return to the lodge for dinner and rest.

Seventeenth day: Tour to the Lost Cocha.

After breakfast, we will take hiking trails to reach the Lost Cocha, which constitutes a refuge and feeding ecosystem for a vast variety of animals. There is the possibility of observing otters, caimans, turtles, tapirs, birds with colorful plumage, the majestic jaguar, and a variety of fish. This area is unique and remains intact, with immense swamps and diverse aguajales. Then, we will arrive at the extraordinary Amazon Viewpoint from where you can appreciate the magical jungle. You can also take a pleasant canoe ride around the lake. Return to the lodge. Lunch. In the afternoon, we offer an optional visit to the botanical garden. If you want to relax, we offer the Amazonian pool. Then, we will return to the lodge for dinner and rest.

Eighteenth day: Tour to the Gamitana River (Briolo)

After breakfast, at the scheduled time, we will take another excursion through the Amazon rainforest, navigating the Madre de Dios River. Then, we will walk towards the Gamitana River, whose origins lie in the depths of the virgin jungle. On the way, we will pass through extensive navigable channels, where we will return by canoe, appreciating the flora and fauna of the area such as turtles, caimans, birds, and a variety of insects. We can also practice fishing and take a relaxing swim in the river. At night, we will rest in our lodge.

Nineteenth day: Travel from Puerto Maldonado to Lima and City tour in Lima

After breakfast, we will transfer you to the Puerto Maldonado airport to board your flight to Lima. The flight lasts approximately 2 hours and will take place in the morning. In Lima, our staff will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel. In the afternoon, after some rest, we will begin our tour of the modern residential districts of Miraflores and San Isidro. We will visit the financial center, the Golf course, El Olivar, the Huaca Pucllana (the pre-Inca ceremonial temple in the form of a pyramid), and the Love Park on the Malecón of Miraflores. Continuing our tour, we will head to the Historic Center of Lima, where we will visit San Martin Square, its balconies, old mansions, and the Main Square with its most important buildings. Finally, we will enter one of the most important convents of the 17th century. A complete tour with the comfort and attention of modern tourist service.

Twentieth day: Tour to Pachacamac

After breakfast, we will pick you up at 9:00 am from your hotel to visit the Sanctuary and Oracle of the God Pachacamac or the “Creator God of the World”. Located 31 km south of Lima. Sacred place of pilgrimage and ancestral worship, highlighted by the Site Museum, the Pyramidal Complex, Temples, and Palaces of Pre-Inca and Inca cultures. The enigmatic Temples of the Sun and the Moon, a place that was home to the Virgins of the Sun. All this is accompanied by a general view of the diverse faces of the city and its expansion through space and time, as can be seen in the tour of the beaches of Costa Verde and Salto del Fraile, the nature of the Pantanos de Villa (a variety of birds, especially in summer), and picturesque neighborhoods nearby. Then you will have the afternoon free, and in the evening, you will rest at your hotel in Lima.

Twenty-first day: Transfer to the airport and farewell

After breakfast and at the time indicated by you, we will transfer you from the hotel to Jorge Chávez airport in Callao. We must be there two hours before the time of our international flight. Please note that you will need to pay an airport tax of US$ 36.00. After check-in, we will say goodbye, and you will board your flight back to your country.
