Tour Description 12 days and 11 nights (Lima, Cusco, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, Colored Mountain, Titicaca Lake - Puno, Lima, Nazca, Paracas, Ballestas Islands, Lima)
First day: City tour in Lima with visit to Huaca Pucllana
After you step on Peruvian soil our staff will welcome you in the hall of Jorge Chavez Airport in Lima and transfer you to the hotel. After a break we will visit the most interesting places of the “City of Kings”: The Cathedral, the Tomb of Pizarro, the Catacombs of San Francisco, passing by the Congress, the Palace of Torre Tagle.
Then you will visit the residential areas of Orrantia, San Isidro, Miraflores where we will visit the Huaca Pucllana ruins just put in value. Barranco, where you will enjoy a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean. Then, you will visit the Rafael Larco Herrera Museum. Where you will find a lot of pre-Inca ceramics including the world’s largest collection of erotic huacos. Night in selected hotel in Lima.
Second day: City tour in Cusco
After breakfast at the hotel, we will pick you up and take you to Lima airport, there you will check in and take a one hour flight to the city of Cusco “Archaeological Capital of America”, there our staff will welcome you and transfer from Cusco airport to the selected hotel, where you will drink a coca mate. After your lunch from 13:00 hrs we will start the guided tour that includes visiting the center of the millenary city of Cusco, the Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, the Monastery of Santo Domingo, Temple of Koricancha and the nearby ruins of Kenko, Puka Pukara, Tambomachay and the fortress of Sacsayhuaman, built with huge rocks that until now remains an enigma the mobilization and use of these, there are no stone quarries in the area.
Third day: Tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas
We will pick you up between 08:00 hours to 08:20 hours, the tour will start by making a stop at the natural viewpoint of Corao, where the guide will give an introduction about the Sacred Valley.
Enjoying a beautiful landscape, the first place to visit will be the traditional Inca market of Pisaq. Here you can do some souvenir or handicrafts purchases and then ascend to the Archaeological Center of Pisaq, where after a short walk you will reach the main Inca enclosures. Continuing with the trip you will head to the city of Urubamba to an exclusive restaurant, where you will taste the local cuisine.
The Fortress and Citadel of Ollantaytambo will be our stop in the afternoon. Finally we will go to the train station of Ollantaytambo, to board the train, which leaves at 16:36 hours to Aguas Calientes, to arrive at approximately 18:10 hours. We will spend the night in the selected hotel in Aguas Calientes (Machupicchu Pueblo).
Fourth day: Machu Picchu Tour "The Lost City of the Incas"
After breakfast in the early hours of the day, we will climb to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu, then we will make excursion with guided service approximately for 2 hours through the citadel. On the tour you will visit the most important enclosures of this city such as: The Main Square, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Solar Clock, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows and the cemeteries. After the tour of the citadel of Machupicchu, you can optionally do the trekking to the summit of Huaynapicchu or mountain sector, this will take a few hours between the return (this visit is without a guided service). Then we will get off by bus to Aguas Calientes and in the afternoon we will take the train back to Ollantaytambo, where our staff will be waiting to make the transfer and transport by bus to the city of Cusco and take you to your hotel.
Fifth day: Tour to the colored mountain Vinicunca
Very early in the morning at 4:00 pm, we will pass by your hotel in our private tourist transport, then we will move on the route to the south of the city of Cusipata-Paucarpata. The tour will last approximately 2 hours, where we will enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet (scrambled eggs, cheese, ham, fruit salad, hot drinks, etc.). We will continue for about 40 minutes to the control point, it is where we will begin to do the walk. Once you get to this point, our guide will give you the directions and recommendations of the route to finally start.
The trek will take us approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes until we reach Vinicunca or colored mountain at 5020 meters above sea level. On the way we will observe the fauna and flora of the area, highlighting the llamas and alpacas that are cared for by shepherds, dressed in beautiful typical costumes of the region. Then we will pass through beautiful gorges heading to the highest parts, surrounded by snowy peaks (Ausangate).
Almost when we reach the top we will observe the change of landscape, the Colored Mountain Range of Vinicunca (5020 m / 16,466 ft.). Arriving at this point between 10:30 to 11:00 hours. Here our guide will explain in detail about the terrain, ecosystem and color of the mountain, and then take from another horizon the most beautiful photos of the mountain of colors.
We will be able to see the beautiful landscape from 5080 meters above sea level, after which we will take the return route through the viewpoint of the Red Valley of red mountains.
We will walk on this ecosystem considered Andean desert, it will be the last visit to another point of Vinicunca for the photos and then we will return to Llaqto, where our vehicle will be waiting.
Afterwards we will have our delicious buffet lunch with a wide variety of Novo Andean food. Then we will return to the city of Cusco, arriving at approximately 17:00 hrs.
Sixth day: Tourist trip from Cusco to Puno visiting "Raqchi"
Having a good breakfast, we will pick you up from the hotel and take you to the bus station of the company that will take us for a tour that lasts approximately 8 hours. we will have 4 excursions and guided visits to the tourist attractions of the southern corridor of the Altiplano visiting the temple of Andahuaylillas or Chapel Sistine of America, the Inka temple of Raqchi, at noon in the city of Sicuani we will have included in the tour a buffet lunch, then we will continue the tour arriving at the Pass of the Raya at 4335 meters above sea level and the inka Aymara Museum of Pukara. Each visit lasts from 20 to 40 minutes, where the passenger can ask questions, take photos and walk a little, making our excursions pleasant. Upon arrival in Puno our staff will be waiting for us and will take us to the hotel where we will spend the night.
Seventh day: Tour to Titicaca Lake, Los Uros Islands and Taquile
In the morning we will make an excursion through Titicaca Lake. As the first place to visit will be the Floating Islands of the Uros. These islands are built with layers of totora, important as housing and center of sales of crafts that are beneficial for the habitants of this place, who move in rafts made by them. We will continue our tour to Taquile Island, where the habitants cheerfully welcome tourists, who still keep alive their customs, traditions, and their colorful typical costumes. Finishing this tour you will be taken to the pier of Puno, our staff will be waiting for you to take you to your hotel.
Eighth Day: Chullpas de Sillustani & Airplane Flight from Juliaca to Lima
After having breakfast at the hotel, you will have some free hours to visit the center of the city of Puno, at an hour that we will indicate, we will pick you up from the hotel and transfer you to the Chullpas of Sillustani, funeral towers of circular form pre-Inca, the highest is approximately 12 mts. Then we will go to Juliaca airport that is about an hour from Puno, there you will check in at the counter of the airport and then take the flight to Lima. Again at Lima airport, we will be waiting for you with a sign with your name, and then transfer you to the selected hotel in Lima. At night they will stay in the hotel.
Ninth Day: Bus Ride from Lima to Nazca
We must wake up early, after having breakfast, we will pick you up from the hotel and we will go to the bus terminal of the tourism company that will take us from Lima to Nazca, in a trip that will last 6 hours approximately we will arrive to the city of Nazca, where we will be waiting as always with a sign with your name, then we will transfer you to the hotel where you will stay that night.
Tenth day: Flight over the "Nazca Lines"
In the morning after having breakfast, we will transfer you to the airport of Nazca, for a 30-minute flight over the Pampas of Nazca, where the ancient pre-Inca drew gigantic figures of animals and plants for an undiscovered purpose, many people believe that these figures were made by extraterrestrials, among which are the monkey, the spider, the hummingbird, etc. Then there will be a visit to the “Cemetery of Chauchillas”
In the afternoon we will take bus to Paracas, a city 3 hours from Nazca, in Paracas our staff will be waiting to welcome you and take you to your hotel.
Eleventh day: Tour to the "Ballestas Islands" and "Paracas Reserve"
After having our breakfast, we will transfer to the port of Paracas, where we will start the tour to the Ballestas Islands passing by “El Candelabro”, a gigantic image on the slope of a hill. Upon arrival at the Ballestas Islands, you will visit the different islands for two hours, observing the different species of sea lions, seals, penguins and guanera birds. After arriving at the port we will take the tour to the Paracas reserve. In the afternoon we will go to Paracas from where we will take the Bus to Lima. Upon arrival in Lima we will wait for you at the bus terminal and transfer you to the airport to make your flight arrangements to your country, there we will say goodbye.
Twelfth day: Transfer to the airport and farewell
After having breakfast and at the time indicated to us, we will transfer you from the hotel to the Jorge Chávez airport in Callao. We must be two hours before the time of our international flight, we must take into account that we must pay an airport tax of US$ 36.00, after checking in, we will say goodbye and you will take a flight to your country.
